How Tizy Works

Tizy puts three things in one place: live audio from nightlife venues, tonight's events, and a venue rating index. This is how the three fit together, from the venue's side to yours.

1. The venue streams its room from a small box

A venue that joins Tizy connects a small streaming box to its sound feed. The box sends the room's audio to Tizy's streaming servers as it happens. The venue controls when it streams; when the box is off, the venue shows as not live.

2. Listeners hear the room live in the app

Open the Tizy app and the map shows which venues are streaming right now. Tap one to hear the room as it sounds at that moment, before you travel. Listening is free.

3. Events and ratings sit around every venue

Each venue page carries the venue's facts, its upcoming events where Tizy has them, and its Tizy Score from the Tizy Nightlife Index. City pages list every venue and event Tizy tracks for that city, live or not.

Where it works today

Tizy publishes pages for New York, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Las Vegas, Dubai and Miami today, and adds a city once it carries enough real venues to be worth a page. The full list is at Cities.
