Berlin nightlife runs on a week that every other city has backwards. Friday and Saturday carry 578 of the city's 896 upcoming listed events, but the cheapest night is Sunday: 10 of its 75 listings are free entry, 13.3%, the highest share of any day and almost four times Friday's 3.6%. This Berlin nightlife guide is built on that calendar, on the posted hours of the clubs that stay open through Sunday, and on the Google ratings of the 214 rooms Tizy has revealed in the city, from Revaler Straße in Friedrichshain to the wine bars of Mitte. Every number is measured 2026-09-17 from tizy-db.

The short version, if you are already on the U-Bahn: the big calendar is Friday and Saturday, the free door is Sunday, the famous techno rooms rate under 4, and the €10–20 band is where the city's good rooms actually live.

The week is Friday and Saturday, the discount is Sunday

Berlin's feed lists 896 upcoming events across 233 venues between now and the end of December, status not cancelled. Cut it by the day of the week and the shape is lopsided in one direction and the price is lopsided in the other.

Friday and Saturday together are 64.5% of everything on the calendar. They are also the two nights where the door is least likely to be free, and Saturday is the only night that runs a ticket above €40, topping out at €119. Sunday has a quarter of Saturday's listings, a maximum ticket of €25, the lowest priced average of any weekend night at €12.71, and a free share nearly double the next-best day.

One caveat, because it matters. The free figures are exact: 57 of 896 listings carry a free flag, 6.4% city-wide. The ticket averages are not complete: only 393 listings, 43.9%, carry a price, and 446 are paid nights with no price on file. That is why this guide leads on who charges nothing, which is a full count, rather than on who charges most, which is a partial one.

What Friday actually costs, room by room

Friday's 279 listings spread across 119 venues, and the busiest are not the ones the hotel blogs name. House of Weekend, listed on the feed as Weekend Club I Loft I Rooftop, has 12 upcoming Friday nights, the most of any room, at an average priced ticket of €7. It holds a 4.3 across 970 Google reviews at Alexanderstraße 7 in Mitte, closes at 6 AM on Sunday morning, and posts closed on Thursday and Monday. Paloma has 10 Fridays at €12 average. ://about blank has 6 at €12.32 and 7 more on Saturday at €14.25; the room itself rates 3.7 across 1,743 reviews in the €20–30 band. RSO.BERLIN runs 5 Fridays at €23, the dearest regular Friday on the list.

Saturday's 299 listings are the widest night, 143 venues, and the most expensive one. Ritter Butzke in Kreuzberg has 7 Saturdays and rates 3.8 across 2,291. OHM has 6 at €15. OST, Club OST on the ratings side, has 5 at €25 and rates 3.6 across 1,269, one of the lowest verdicts among the city's bigger rooms. Then there is Crack Bellmer at Revaler Straße 99: 6 Saturday listings at an average of €7, a 4.2 across 1,467 reviews, a €10–20 band, and posted hours that run to 6 AM Saturday morning and reopen at 7 PM the same evening. Same street as the tourist-bus end of Friedrichshain, a third of the price of the rooms around it, and better rated than most of them.

The pattern inside the weekend is the pattern of the whole week. The nights with the most listings are the nights with the most ticketed doors, and the rooms with the most reviews are not the rooms with the best ones.

Sunday is the club city's own day

The Sunday number is not a fluke of a quiet calendar. It is how Berlin's clubs are built. Of the 36 revealed night clubs, 20 post opening hours on Google, and 19 of those 20 are open on Sunday. Eleven of the 20 are closed on Thursday. Only 8 post any Monday hours at all.

The posted schedules read like a list of exceptions to every other city's week. Berghain | Panorama Bar is open 24 hours on Sunday and runs to 6 AM Monday; it posts closed on Thursday. Sisyphos is open 24 hours on both Saturday and Sunday and closes at 10 AM Monday. KitKatClub runs until 5 PM on Sunday. Tresor closes at noon on both Saturday and Sunday. Golden Gate is open 24 hours Saturday and closes at 3 PM Sunday. Æden and M-BIA both run to 10 AM Sunday. The rooms that are famous for not closing are, on paper, Sunday rooms first.

The feed agrees. Lokschuppen Berlin, also at Revaler Straße 99, has 6 Sunday listings, the most of any venue on that day, one of them free, though the room rates 3.7 across 2,508. KitKatClub has 4 Sundays. The free Sunday nights are spread across eight venues on the feed, led by Prisma and DNA. CLUB with two each; DNA. CLUB carries 6 free listings across the week, more than any other room in the city, and Orangerie Neukölln 5.

Berlin does not discount Friday or Saturday. It discounts Sunday. If a free door matters more than the biggest calendar, go the day after the big nights, not on one of them.

The number behind that is the 13.3% against Friday's 3.6%. Sunday has fewer listings, 75 against 279, so the choice is narrower. But the door is open, the ticket is capped at €25, and the rooms that never close are still going from Saturday.

The famous doors rate below the rooms next to them

Berlin's 36 revealed night clubs average 4.14 on Google. The city's 143 bars, cocktail bars, pubs and wine bars average 4.57, and the 9 wine bars alone 4.76. Nine of the 13 rooms in the whole city rated under 4.0 are clubs. The names in that pile are the names on every page-one guide: Berghain | Panorama Bar at 3.9 across 5,895 reviews, Sisyphos at 3.9 across 7,219, Tresor at 3.7 across 4,930, Ritter Butzke at 3.8, ://about blank at 3.7.

The price band tells the same story from the other side. The 7 clubs Google puts in the €10–20 band average 4.26: The Cloud at 4.8 across 1,122, the best-rated club in the city, then Soda Club 4.4, VOID 4.3, Crack Bellmer 4.2, Cassiopeia 4.1, Matrix 4.0 across 11,789 reviews, the biggest sample of any Berlin room, and Club der Visionäre 4.0. The 5 clubs in the €20–30 band average 3.90: ELSE 4.3, Æden 4.2, Tresor 3.7, ://about blank 3.7, Prince Charles 3.6. Ten euros more at the door buys a room the city rates a third of a point lower.

That is not an argument against Berghain. A 3.9 from 5,895 people includes a lot of people who never got past the door, and the ones who did are not the ones writing reviews at 9 AM. It is an argument against paying for the name. Across 214 rated rooms, 110 sit in the €10–20 band and average 4.53. The city's best money is its cheapest.

Where the night is, by district

Friedrichshain is the club end and the address is Revaler Straße 99: Cassiopeia, Crack Bellmer, Lokschuppen and The White Rabbit (4.5 across 531, open to noon on Sunday) share one yard, with Matrix under the Warschauer Straße arches and Berghain a short walk west across the rail lines. Mitte holds the other cluster around Alexanderplatz and Köpenicker Straße: The Cloud and House of Weekend in the same tower at Alexanderstraße 7, KitKatClub and Tresor a few hundred meters apart on Köpenicker, Golden Gate under the Jannowitzbrücke S-Bahn, and Beate Uwe at 4.6 across 500 in the same zip. Treptow, across the canal from Kreuzberg, has the water: Club der Visionäre, ELSE and MS Hoppetosse (4.4 across 560), a boat.

The bars are where the ratings go. 100 Gramm Bar in Mitte holds a 4.8 across 4,291 reviews in the €10–20 band and runs to 5 AM Friday and Saturday, 2:30 AM Sunday. Noor Lounge in Prenzlauer Berg is a 4.9 across 1,157, open to 5 AM on the weekend. Nachbar in Schöneberg is a 4.9 across 999, same hours. Oase Deluxe at Alexanderplatz posts 10 AM to 5 AM every day of the week at a 4.7 across 1,557. Zig Zag Jazz Club in Friedenau is a 4.9 across 3,938, the largest sample behind any 4.9 in the city, and it closes at 12:30 AM, which is when the Friedrichshain rooms are still waiting for a line.

The rules, without the mythology

The club rules everyone asks about, the door, the phone camera, the sticker, are not in a database and this guide will not pretend they are. What the data does say is practical. Thursday is thin: 11 of the 20 clubs with posted hours are closed, so a Thursday night is a bar night by default, and the 110 Thursday listings sit at a €13.07 average with an 8.2% free share, the second-best of the week. Monday is thinner still, 30 listings across 15 venues, and only eight clubs post Monday hours at all: Maxxim, Soda Club, ELSE, Crack Bellmer, KitKatClub, Sisyphos, Berghain and Tresor, most of them the tail of Sunday.

Clubs here are 18 and over, ID at the door. A rating is a verdict on a season, not on tonight: a 3.9 does not know whether Berghain's floor is full at 11 AM Sunday, and a 4.8 does not know whether The Cloud has a private booking. Where a room streams live on Tizy, tap it and hear the floor before you cross the city for it.

So which night

  • Want the free door and a room still running from Saturday: Sunday. The 13.3% free share, the €25 ceiling, and Berghain, Sisyphos, KitKatClub and Tresor all open past noon.
  • Want the biggest calendar and can pay for it: Saturday. 299 listings across 143 venues, the €15.89 average, and the one night with a ticket over €100.
  • Want the best-rated night for the least money: the €10–20 band, any night. The Cloud, Soda Club, Crack Bellmer among the clubs; 100 Gramm, Noor Lounge, Nachbar among the bars.
  • Want the name on the wall: go Sunday morning, not Saturday night. Same room, a smaller line, and the calendar says the door is likelier to be free.

For the same math on a city that runs the opposite week, the Las Vegas nightlife guide shows what a $100 door buys on the Strip. Or skip the reading and open Berlin in Tizy to hear which room is alive right now. NIGHTS NEVER END, and in this city the calendar means it.

FAQ

What part of Berlin is best for nightlife?

Friedrichshain for clubs and Mitte for the rest, by the numbers. Revaler Straße 99 in Friedrichshain holds Cassiopeia, Crack Bellmer, Lokschuppen and The White Rabbit in a single yard, with Matrix and Berghain within walking distance. Mitte has the best-rated club in the city, The Cloud at 4.8 across 1,122 reviews, plus KitKatClub, Tresor and Golden Gate along the Spree. The best-rated bars cluster in Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg and Schöneberg, where 100 Gramm Bar, Noor Lounge and Nachbar all sit at 4.8 or 4.9.

What are the unspoken rules of Berlin clubs?

The ones that show up in data are about time and money, not dress. Nothing on Revaler Straße is worth arriving at before midnight, the famous rooms post hours that run through Sunday and into Monday, and 11 of the 20 clubs with posted hours are closed on Thursday. The door is the lottery, not the price: 110 of Berlin's 214 rated nightlife rooms sit in the €10–20 band. Phone stickers, photo bans and door selection are real, but Tizy does not track them and will not invent a policy for a room it has not measured.

What happens in KitKatClub Berlin?

KitKatClub at Köpenicker Straße is Berlin's best-known fetish club, with a themed dress code that changes by night and is enforced at the door, so read the specific event before you go. On the numbers Tizy holds, it rates 4.0 across 3,895 Google reviews, posts hours to 9 AM Saturday and 5 PM Sunday, and carries 4 upcoming Sunday listings, tied for second-busiest Sunday venue in the city. It is one of only 8 revealed clubs that posts any Monday opening at all.

What is the cheapest night to go out in Berlin?

Sunday. Of Berlin's 75 upcoming Sunday listings, 10 are free entry, 13.3%, against 3.6% on Friday and 7.4% on Saturday. The highest listed Sunday ticket is €25, where Saturday reaches €119, and the priced Sunday average is €12.71. Sunday is also the day most clubs are open: 19 of the 20 revealed clubs with posted hours are open on Sunday, and Berghain, Sisyphos, Tresor and KitKatClub all run past noon.

What time do clubs in Berlin close?

On posted hours, often not until the next day. Berghain | Panorama Bar is open 24 hours on Sunday and closes at 6 AM Monday, and Sisyphos runs 24 hours Saturday and Sunday and closes at 10 AM Monday. KitKatClub closes at 5 PM Sunday, Tresor at noon on Saturday and Sunday, Golden Gate at 3 PM Sunday. The smaller rooms keep shorter weekends: The Cloud runs 10 PM to 5 AM Friday and Saturday and is closed Sunday, and House of Weekend closes at 6 AM Sunday morning.

Is Berlin nightlife good for couples or people over 40?

The rooms the city rates highest are bars, not clubs, and they work at any age. Berlin's 143 bars, cocktail bars, pubs and wine bars average 4.57 against 4.14 for the 36 clubs, and the 9 wine bars average 4.76. Zig Zag Jazz Club in Friedenau is a 4.9 across 3,938 reviews with a 12:30 AM close, Nachbar in Schöneberg a 4.9 across 999, and Green Door Bar in Schöneberg a 4.8 across 878. If the night is a club, Sunday afternoon at Berghain or KitKatClub is a smaller crowd and a free door more often than Saturday.
