Born at Midnite

Born at Midnite build everything themselves — a Montreal duo working out of a converted former tax office above a clothing store, running samplers, drum machines and tape decks until a track exists entirely on their own terms. That DIY streak plays out at Cinetol on Tolstraat, the same room booking the venue's bigger live-music nights this October. It's a small, specific sound built by two people who don't outsource any part of it.
