Albert Vila Quartet feat Perico Sambeat

Jamboree's quartet slot this run belongs to guitarist Albert Vila, premiering a new formation with alto player Perico Sambeat, Umberto Odone on drums and Abel Boquera on organ. It's a different texture than the room's usual piano-trio nights — organ instead of upright bass changes the whole bottom end. Doors on Plaça Reial at 7:30, and the crowd here comes to listen, not talk over the band.
