Shortcuts – Courvoisier / Rothenberg / Waits

Jamboree sits right on Plaça Reial, and this one's for the chairs, not the dancefloor. Sylvie Courvoisier's piano, Ned Rothenberg's clarinet, alto sax and shakuhachi, and Nasheet Waits on drums improvise through a set that owes more to free jazz than to the club crowd upstairs. There's a bar onsite if you need something in hand while you listen.
