KISMET // N1NA + Mui Mui + serpentskirt

Three different lineages of dance music share one Bossa Nova Civic Club bill for KISMET on Tuesday: Mui Mui, who brings a classical ballet background into bass-heavy sets built for movement; N1NA, up from Miami's underground with heavy kicks and hypnotic vocal samples; and serpentskirt, who treats punk, shoegaze and EBM as one family. Ten hours on Myrtle Ave, no unifying theme beyond intentional dub techno done right.
